Named for celebrated architect James Renwick, creator of world-renowned St. Patrick's Cathedral, The Renwick was once home to artists' studios, intellectuals and many celebrated writers (including John Steinbeck and F. Scott Fitzgerald) and honors its past by infusing art throughout its public space and guest rooms. Artfully outfitted interiors were designed by Stonehill & Taylor and simply bring The Renwick to life.

The hotel offers 173 residential, loft-style guest rooms accented by hand-crafted furnishings and in-room artistic designs of famous artists; select guest rooms feature a personal balcony and 33 of the hotel's accommodations are suites. In-room amenities include a 48-inch Smart TV (55-inch TV in suites) plus mini-refrigerator, artist-style work desk, plush bathrobe and slippers and bath products by Brooklyn-based company Apotheke.
